This website, salarguellocpa.com, is operated by Sal Arguello, CPA, based in Kansas City, Missouri. This policy explains what information the website handles and what happens to it.

The short version

• The only personal information the website asks for is what you choose to type into the contact form.

The contact form

If you send a consultation request, the form collects your name, your email address, the message you write, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, your business name, and the services you are interested in.

When you press send, the website emails that information to Sal Arguello using Cloudflare Email Service. The website itself does not keep a copy: there is no database behind it. The only record is the email in Sal's inbox, which is kept for as long as Sal chooses to keep it. The website stores nothing: there is no database behind it, so the only copy of your message is the email in his inbox.

Please do not put Social Security numbers, bank details, or tax documents in the form. The form checks for number patterns that look like a Social Security number and will ask you to remove them before sending.

Spam protection

The contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. To do that, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and details about your browser. It is used for security only.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses in order to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse, which can include a strictly necessary security cookie.

To ask what information from you is on file, or to ask for a message you sent to be deleted, contact Sal at (815) 757-4256.

Children

This website is for business owners and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
